Generations of  hard working people  have turned Goriška Brda  into a garden of  Eden; cherry- trees, peach- trees, apricot- trees, olive- trees, figs, chestnuts and, of course, vineyards will meet your eye wherever you look.  White, yellow and pink blossoms will welcome you in spring, juicy fruits will tempt you in summer, a rainbow of autumn colours will cast a spell on  you in autumn.

Brda is a land of turbulent history and vibrant present. Brda is a land of castles and small white churches (about 30 preserved to this day), scattered  around numerous hillocks. Nature with its course and rhythm still dictates the pace of  life here. When nature and man work together, one cannot but admire   beautiful white, yellow and pink blossoms in spring, juicy fruits in summer, and a magnificent rainbow of colours in autumn, when the most important activity of grape harvesting takes place. Whatever season you choose, Brda is the place to be.

  • Day trips

Discover Goriška Brda in a day. We  suggest four different itineraries which can be modified and changed according to your specific wishes.

  • Hiking trips

We offer different hiking trips that will enable you to experience Goriška Brda from a different prospective. Through vineyards and orchards to some fine examples of  cultural heritage that cannot be seen from a car. These trips are suitable for all.

  • The visit of mediaval Šmartno

Šmartno is a remarkable cultural monument in Slovenia.  A guided tour throug the narrow streets will allow you to discover peculiar architectural features of this fortified village. Visit   the Gothic house, ethnological museum  and the House of Culture, with contemporary art exhibitions.

  • Wine tasting

For wine lovers and those who like to enjoy excellent wines. Allow us to arrange your visit to the many cellars around Goriška Brda.
